Improving with intention

To be fully honest I struggle with hair, because my artistic mind decided to ignore the concept of shapes and perseverate on lines; and hair is shape. But I do feel I have gotten better as i’ve acquiesced to a more flowing mindset with age, the above shows a meaningful shift from recent sketching. The face on the left reflects my feelings on her hair.
